Eucharistic Congress Ipswich.
The Congress relied entirely on the generosity of those who believed in what it set out to do. There was no large fund behind it. It was built by parishes, volunteers, and people who wanted to see something good happen in Ipswich.
Every contribution helps cover the costs of the week that has now taken place.
What your donation covers
Putting on a week of this scale had real costs. Your gift helps cover:
- Venue hire — the Ipswich Corn Exchange for the Sunday gathering, and support for parish venues across the week
- Liturgy and music — so that worship was done with the care it deserved
- Guest speakers — bringing in teachers and witnesses who spoke with depth and honesty about the faith
- Materials — printed resources, signage, and session guides for those taking part
- Hospitality — so that no one felt unwelcome, and those who travelled a distance were properly cared for
No one was turned away because of cost. Your generosity makes it possible to settle what the week cost, even now the Congress has finished.
